Every living being perceives subject and object,
but the Yogini resides in their Union…
~ Vijnana Bhairava Tantra
Sitting meditation is the time-tested methodology to explore human consciousness. Through repeated practice, the nervous system is trained to hold the frequencies of the Self, leading to the spontaneous manifestation of healing, resilience, joy, calmness and the real possibility to “bring heaven on earth.”
“So what is meditation then? Meditation is our natural state. We don’t do anything to meditate. So the first rule of thumb is to view meditation as a simple fallback into a natural state of what we are. And for that, of course, we need to have some kind of methodology—and this is where Tantra comes in, because Tantra is a set of doctrines, methodologies, practices, ways, techniques. So Tantra would have a lot of ways of how to make this experience of the transcendent more direct, more immediate, and more successful.
When we meditate, it’s the time of allowance, when we allow more than normal. In fact, the more we can allow, the more profound this meditation is bound to be. It’s acceptance of absolutely everything that rises as we set to transcend. …”
